It's been awhile

Whew -- it's been awhile since I last wrote in this blogger -- I guess I missed this site. The last time I tried to write in this site -- my inet just stopped working and thus I decided not to write anymore -- hmmmm.... how's my life have been???? Lots of things happened -- but so far I am enjoying life despite the ups and downs --- well, maybe it was because in all the downs God carried me in His shoulder -- truly tough times never lasts but tough people do.

Oh, I finished reading a book -- after twenty years in the making (hahahaha). It's "Becoming the Real You" by Joel Osteen. The Book is all about................

And I finished one Level of one Language Short Course -- but still need to take the exam. I will be missing the exam again this month... hayyy sad -- but I have to -- anyway, I will surely take it early next year and I promise myself to enroll the course again for the second level. Sometimes, people ask what am I goin to do learning the language -- I guess I started to love it and somehow I know in the future I can make use of it. Hmmm.... so for a start I should start putting something in my piggy bank as to be able to enroll :-D Well, I am still very poor on the language so need to work hard on it and my tongue had to be straighten as well -- my tongue twists much when I speak the laguage (hehehe). Prayin I will be good on it someday (wink)

About my job, I am enjoying it. I guess events management is thing I enjoy doing though I am still seeing the possibility in working in International Relations involving in Policy Making. I dont know why I have this kind feelings -- maybe it's because I am working mostly with the Western and somehow doing an the work in International Relations --- hmmm... but I dont know much about economy (kinda shameful truth). Overall, I enjoy the job as I meet people at the top -- personalities who are on the top position in big companies. Being able to mingle and interact with them is something... similarly, having conversation with them gives me a good learning and wisdom to learn.

New Room of Opportunity

Just an update about myself -- I now resigned at the University -- after four years and 8 months of service there; God opened a new door of opportunity.

I'm now connected to a non-profit organization of the Uncle Same people (wink...wink). Somehow, the adjustment I am doing is very minimal as the people in my new work practice teamwork -- meaning they are friendly and accommodating and helpful -- introducing me to the culture of the organization -- and they are warm and welcome you with open arms -- they will leave you do your thing as long as you present a good output. I could say -- I am enjoying my environment and the new family I am in now --- and I can't wait for the time that my hands will be loaded with much stuff -- and do that with efficientness and competently as to glorify my true Employer -- our Almighty God.

As it is written in the Bible "In everything -- do it for the glory of our God."

I know this is just the beginning of God's plan for me -- and I will never stop believing that in His time God will show me His perfect plan for me -- the reality of my dreams =)

September 7, my last day in HongKong -- I geared myself up for Disneyland. Even before I left for HK, I said to myself that I will make it a point that I will see Disneyland or Ocean Park. Hence, I decided with or without my friend I will still go there -- I am happy I did.

When my friend asked if I am goin to Disneyland I never had a second thought to say Yes -- even if that was meant I will be going alone.

Late morning of that day, I excitedly waited for the shuttle bus to arrive -- I was holding the map tightly on my hand -- which was that time was my best friend in the unknown country. At the train station, I went right away to the information counter -- as expected got hard time understanding them -- well -- at the end I find my way to disney

The disney train was amazing -- the kid in me was awaken -- I enjoyed the moment I had there -- the fantasyland -- where i wished for my Prince -- the adventureland and tomorrowland -- I would stay longer for the night if I ain't in a hurry -- but I had a great day there -- it's good to be a kid sometimes -- play and good laugh :-)

HongKong - officially The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region [pronunciation], is one of the two special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China (PRC), the other being Macau.

Hong Kong was a crown colony of the United Kingdom from 1842 until the transfer of its sovereignty to the People's Republic of China in 1997.
Geography

Hong Kong consists primarily of Hong Kong Island, Lantau Island, Kowloon Peninsula and the New Territories as well as some 260 other islands.

The name "Hong Kong", which literally translates to mean "fragrant harbour", is derived from the area around present-day Aberdeen on Hong Kong Island. This is an area where fragrant wood products and fragrant incense were once traded. The narrow body of water which separates Hong Kong Island from the Kowloon Peninsula is known as Victoria Harbour and is one of the deepest natural maritime ports in the world.

Climate

Its climate is subtropical and, for nearly half the year, tends toward temperate. The region is cloudy in January and February, meeting with the occasional cold fronts. In March and April, it is pleasant, with occasional high humidity. From May to August, the region is hot and humid, occasionally confronted with showers and thunderstorms. During November and December, there are pleasant breezes, with plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures.

Economy

It maintains a highly capitalist economy built on a policy of free market, low taxation and government non-intervention. It is an important centre for international finance and trade, with the greatest concentration of corporate headquarters in the Asia-Pacific region. In terms of gross domestic product per capita and gross metropolitan product, Hong Kong is the wealthiest urban centre in the People's Republic of China. The GDP (PPP) per capita of Hong Kong even exceeded the four big economies in Western Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy) and Japan in Asia.

Culture

Hong Kong is frequently described as a place where East meets West, a meeting reflected in its economic infrastructure, education and street culture. On one street corner, there may be traditional Chinese shops selling Chinese herbal medicine, Buddhist paraphernalia or bowls of synthetic shark fin soup. But around the next, one may find theatres showing the latest Hollywood blockbuster, an English-style pub, a Catholic Church or a McDonald's.

Architecture

It is a centre for modern architecture, especially in and around Central. Dense commercial skyscrapers between Central and Causeway Bay lining the coast of Victoria Harbour is one of Hong Kong's most famous tourist attractions and ranked the best skyline in the world. Four of the top 15 tallest skyscrapers in the world are in Hong Kong.

One of the largest construction projects in Hong Kon g and the world was the new Hong Kong International Airport on Chek Lap Kok near Lantau, a huge land reclamation project linked to the centre of Hong Kong by the Lantau Link, which features three new major bridges: Tsing Ma, the world' s sixth largest suspension bridge; Kap Shui Mun, the world's longest cable-stayed bridge carrying both road and railway traffic; and Ting Kau, the world's first major four-span cable-stayed bridge.

Regularly notable about Hong Kong's skyline and streetscape is the omnipresence of public housing estates, which began as a squatter resettlement program in the 1950s, and now houses close to 50% of the population. These estates have evolved from seven-storey walk-up apartments with public toilets and minimal amenities, allocated on a basis of 24 square feet (2 m²) per adult, half of that for a child, to high-quality high-rises. The public rental program has been supplemented with a government-subsidised Home Ownership Scheme.

Transportation

HongKong has a highly developed and sophisticated transport network, encompassing both public and private transport. The Octopus card stored value smart card payment system can be used to pay for fares on almost all railways, buses and ferries in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong has several different modes of public rail transport. The two metro systems for the city are the MTR (Mass Transit Railway) and KCR which acts as a link between Hong Kong and mainland China (KCR also operates a light rail system in northwest New Territories). These are operated by the MTR Corporation Limited and the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation respectively. The tramway system covers the northern parts of Hong Kong Island and is the only tram system in the world run exclusively by double deckers.

There are also ferry services. The oldest service, the legendary Star Ferry, operates four lines between Kowloon and Hong Kong Island and has provided cost-effective transport for over a century. Popular with tourists desiring a panoramic view of Hong Kong's skyline and harbour, many Hong Kong residents consider the Star Ferry as one of the city's most treasured cultural icons. Additionally, 78 "kai-to" ferries are licensed to serve remote coastal settlements.

International Airport now serves as a transport hub for Southeast Asia. Additionally, both Hong Kong International Airport and Cathay Pacific Airways have been voted best in the world, in the airport and airline criteria respectively, by Skytrax from 2001 to 2005, and again in 2007.

While the traffic in mainland China drives on the right, Hong Kong still maintains its own road rules, with traffic continuing to drive on the left. There are about 517,000 registered vehicles in Hong Kong, 64% of which are privately owned passenger cars. As a metropolis for luxury in Asia, Hong Kong is world famous for having the most Rolls-Royce cars per capita in the world. Note that the Hong Kong highway code uses the same road sign system as Great Britain whereas the Chinese system is different.

I could say my days in HongKong was an awesome experience. It was a country to see --- busy city life with lots of lots of lights at night.

This is the first time that I stepped in the soil of HongKong. I praised God for that this opportunity that He brought me in this country -- be out of the country for the second time. Like the first trip I'd got this was also a blessing -- God used people to allow me to travel to this country where East meets West.

I arrived in the airport -- amazed and overwhelmed. Still on the plane my eyes was welcomed by the skycrappers in the city where trees are still everywhere. The airport was so huge and very modern. Somehow my loneliness of missing my SO was lessened :-)

I was picked up by my friend (was the reason I was there) and it was great seei ng him after two months (I guess). Hmmm... he let me wait for an hour =( but truth it was okay, I enjoyed the people around and what was on my surrounding. Somehow, I wish my country has this kind of airport and modern transportation.

I arrived at 11am.. then in the afternoon after a few hours of rest, I and my friend went to Central. He showed what the city looks like and we just enjoyed window shopping (or just me). We bumped into so many Filipinas and they are nice enough to help us with the direction

Second day after lunch, we went to macau. In the morning, I went to church in Kowloon where I saw and witnessed God's faithfulness.

The rest of the days I was there -- I just did stroll around -- sight seeing and enjoying the culture that the country has. I travelled alone since my friend had to work. Somehow, it felt good to go around on your own but there were times I wished I had someone with me to laugh and take picture with. Oh, I bumped into an American-Chinese doctor who was nice enough to show me around. He was a tourist too and attending a convention. Sadly, I wasn't able to meet him again because of the conflicting schedule (all because of the cancelling schedule of my friend... grrrr.... ;-)) but it was okay ;-)

I'm thankful to my friend for that experience though sometimes I wish he gave himself an off to accompany me even a day -- or half -- or that we never disagreed on many accounts and he didnt cancel on things that he made me look forward to -- but despite of that -- I could say I really had fun and that experience was something I will always cherish and always be thankful to my friend for that experience.

MACAU - oldest European Colony in China

Etymology

The name "Macau" (Portuguese pronunciation IPA: [mɐ.'kaw]) is thought to be derived from the Templo de A-Má (Temple of A-Ma or Ma Kok Temple) (媽閣廟, Cantonese Jyutping: Maa1 Gok3 Miu6, local pronunciation: Maa5 Gok3 Miu6 or Maa5 Gok3 Miu5), a still-existing landmark built in 1448 dedicated to the goddess Matsu - the goddess of seafarers and fishermen. In keeping with saga, a fisherboat sailing across the sea one day found itself in an unexpected rainstorm. Everyone on board had given up hope of surviving this natural disaster. An attractive young lady, who had boarded the boat at the eleventh hour, stood up and ordered the tempest to calm down. The gale ceased and the sea became calm. The fisherboat, without further event, arrived safely at the port of Hoi Keang. The young lady walked ashore to the top of the Barra Hill where, in a glowing aura of light and fragrance; she ascended to heaven immediately. On the specific locale where she set foot on, a temple was built. Several hundred years later, when Portuguese sailors landed and asked the name of the place, the natives replied A-Ma-Gao (i.e. Bay of A-Ma). The peninsula was therefore renamed and Amagao was abbreviated to Macau in modern usage.

A Trip to Macau -- H mmm... thanks to Auntie Ilona and Uncle Bernd for that...and of course to their Son -- my friend Chris. It was his idea (from his generous heart) to bring me there. I guess if it was not for them I couldnt go to the said country yet. It's one of proof of God's faithfulness and he is using them to bless me ;-)

Well, our trip started on the afternoon of Sunday so I went first to the church for worship service. On my way to the train station where I and Chris will be meeting, my make-up kit fell on the bus.. spreading all my stuff and causing my vitamin E stick to fall out from the bus. Oh gosh, what a day! I felt like crying... it was an expensive gift and hadn't used it yet. Similarly, I was running late and I knew my friend will hate it when I didn't arrive on our agreed time. I arrived in our meeting place 15minutes late. My friend wasn't there. I had no way to contact him coz I forgot to get his number. Worst there were two Exit As in the station and we had not talk whether I will be meeting him inside or outside the station. So I was running back and forth ... I then asked favor to some filipinas that in case my friend arrived and I was not around to tell my friend that I was just looking for him . My mind was in panic.. I was afraid he left me. Good thing he didnt, he was the one who was late :-) Ahmmm... he arrived with a grim face --looking very stress. He overslept and since he will be late -- he took a taxi instead and it cost him a fortune. I guessed this travel will not be a good idea for him anymore. If he was stress expect a not so good companion... so I expected a scowling friend for this whole trip.... scratchhhhhh!!!!! =)

Well, our first stop was Grand Lisboa casino. Wow, a proud golden building - shaped like a lotus flower -- world for the gamblers (what inside scared me). The Basement was crowded with people playing in the luck of machine. After an hour my friend became one of those crowd. Shhhh.. I did play too. However, chris got hands for risk -- he won several bucks. When it was my turn to try my hand on the luck -- i blowed it. Lost the game -- making my friends eyes big with irritation. It was his money...hehehe

After playing we decided to go around and walk in the downtown of Macau. While I was enjoying the tour in the city... my friend was on a sour mood. I just ignored his mood, it was my first time to step on the soil of Macau so told myself that I will make most of my time in the said country ;-) Well, it was my friend's second time -- and he was the one who brought me here so -- enjoy the day and his generosity. The downtown was crowded with people. It was too hot and humid so when I saw this tempting fruit shake, I convinced Chris that we grabbed that one. He took the fresh orange shake and I got the healthy healing shake (kiwi shake topped with strawberry, dragonfruit, watermelon, apple, pineapple and melon). Wow, it was the best shake I ever had...yummy ... truly healing shake to one's thirst from the heat of the sun.

Along the way, there were so many treats from Macau. So many stuff that one can buy at a cheaper price. Hmmmm... I enjoyed their tasty bacon. Love it. (Shhh... I didnt buy one I was on a tight budget(wink...wink)). Beside, me and the Cantonese saleslady didn't understand when I asked for expiration date of the goods =( We kept on walking until we reached the ruins of St. Paul Church. It is one of the famous landmark there and Christoph wants to make sure that I will see the place. The church was built during 1582 to 1602 by the Jesuits and it used to be the largest church in Asia during that time. The church was destroyed by fire during typhoon in 1835. Th ruins now consist of the southern stone facade and it sits on a small hill with 66 steps leading to it. Up from above... you can enjoy the view of the downtown and the Igreja de Santo Agostinho. I enjoyed looking on the busy downtown and at the same time feeling the breeze of the hot wind. Somehow, it was relaxing.

Afterwards, we took the taxi and went down in the promenade near the the babylon casino. We walked around and decided to get inside the Vulcania to play computer games. Chris went for car racing and I played the street fighting games. Btw, I won....hehehe... my friend, Christoph wondered when I did start to have the interest in streetfighting games ;-)

We had bread with porkchop for dinner at the pier and we killed our time like the old times -- having chitchat and bullying each other... with strong punch on the shoulder. Ouch!!! I retaliated if his punch was too much too handle. The turbo jet left macau at 10pm and we arrived in the apartment at 1:00am...

Too tired.... the warmth of the bed was too comforting. I fell in a deep slumber afterwards still thanking my friend and his family for that opportunity ;-)

Just an update........

Unlike what I promised was never able to get back on my blog. Maybe for the reason that nothing so much happened. I'm still connected in P&AU and continually prayin' for a greener pasture. However, one best thing that happened to me is meeting my SO (wink...wink). I have now someone that I can love deeply and can love me deeply in return (hahaha). Well, i guess I love the thrill and excitement ... the strength and courage that it gives. Anyway, our relationship is still new... still so much to see... and now we are already tested by distance and time. So many things can possibly happen that when you think about it you will just stop fighting and just quit. Unless of course, you let God be the captain of it. Thus, I entrust eveything to God. I know if both me and my SO do our part... God will do the rest. Right now, we simply treasure and love each other.

About my career, I enrolled in Diploma Course. I just finished one of the modules. I could say it was a great learning experience. I took training needs assessment module. I learned a lot from my instructor and the experiences shared by my classmates. Workshops were given to us hence we were able to apply our learnings. I praised God for this experience.

For everything... I give all the glory to God.

Whew...here I'm back. It's been months and no pics are posted even now. Lots of things kept me away from my blog. I wanted to go back but when I'm already sitted in front of my PC... I'm too lazy to start..... Now, i forced myself to sit down and think and write (hahaha..)

Mmmm... wat's new to me??? a lot but before I go on... I guess I have to post the photos I've got in the past first... so many interesting things happened to me. Blessings are flowing however I'm still waiting for God's answer to my prayers about my career path, my lovelife, my studies and the likes. Well, I'm waiting for the answers, I know in His own perfect time...He will give it to me ;-) .. ahm.. maybe to give you a taste on what's new in me is... I'm loving somebody right now and receiving love from that somebody (wink...wink...) I simply love my significant other... hahaha... I love you, hun ;-)

I said I'll be on this blog soon.. and write things on wats happening on me. Lots of things change but my dreams are still not on my hand... but I believe in God's time I can reach it. Anyway, living in the love of God is like a hurricane. The storm may twirl around me but on the center there is perfect peace.

WHew!!! It's been a long time since I've got my last visit on this blog... I guess you folks miss me ;-) Well, maybe from now on I will post more on this site... new year is coming over hence, I need to change, right?

Things on my side are running still the same.... but three people I know already married.... hmmm... isn't it time for me to ring the wedding bells too... hehehe... nwei... I'll got back to you, k? I'll just got to run to get noodles of life from the bday girl ;-)

A Day in a Picturesque Province

One of the things I enjoyed being in the Visayas Region was the opportunity to travel. I was able to visit Bohol – one of the loveliest islands in the southern part of the Philippines. This island is situated in the heart of Visayas and with the coastline skimmed by gentle coves and white sand beaches (I was struck by this breath-taking view).

I really enjoyed the sceneries on detour– the rolling hills and plateaus, the clear leafy rivers….i could say, Bohol is truly a picturesque province replete with ancestral and centuries old churches.

I loved the old house that we visited... it was built in the early 1800 ;-) The ground floor of the house was transformed into a cozy restaurant. The owner said that they are famous for their own native chocolate (cocoa) drink – the cocoa was a product of the restaurant itself – cocoa trees are all over the house backyards.

We also went to Corella town where we saw the tarsier – world’s smallest monkey with the size of a fist – its eyes are bigger than its head – amazing primate ;-)

Then our next stopped was the Chocolate Hills in the town of Carmen; the said hills was undoubtedly most famous tourist attraction. On our way to the complex (higher ground where one can view the hundreds cone-shaped hills), we were trapped in a heavy traffic. Hence, we went down from our rented van and decided to start the walk going to the top – whew! Hundreds steps to climb – well, worth taking it – truly the hills are natural wonders ..

We had our lunch in the floating restaurant that cruise the rivers…. and we ended our day in one of the beaches of Bohol…..

Truly an awesome experience ….I will always cherish it…. Well, hoping to go back there someday………. ;-)

My Cebu Experience

I know it’s been a month since my Cebu training ended…. And even now, I haven’t shared my experience yet… so here am I writing.

Well, I could say it was great experience…. even I, myself couldn’t believe that I’d been in Cebu and finished my training…..

I planned to take the training last April 2005 but I got badly sick that I wasn’t able to pursue my plan. As you all know, I’d been advised to be in one-month bed rest before and after my back surgery (Thanks be to God – my surgery was a success – now I’m alive and kicking)

When I was informed of the schedule for the TESOL training, I didn’t have a single peso in my pocket to finance the 5-week training but God provided everything. I flew to Cebu on the 9^th of May – first time (at least for a long time) that I’ll be away from my sister. A little nervous? No… I was thrilled – excited to what was waiting for me in Cebu, which at the time was a strange city for me.

Pulling my heavy luggage (don’t tell my surgeon about it – I am not allowed to carry heavy things ;-))… I was greeted by friendly Cebuano guards, and directed me to the direction where I could get a metered taxi (I couldn’t afford a service car).

At last, I arrived at the Pension House --- three of us will share the room. Climbing the stairs – my mind was wondering about my roommates (I know I’ll be sharing it with one American and one Pinay). My American roommate answered my knocked on the door…. Hi, I’m Abbie… are you ___?; Is this our room?” I asked; “Yes, and we have to figure out how are we going to give way for each other.” she said. Well, folks… it was a posted-stamp room – hahaha – quite small for three ladies – “Excuse Me” was the common statement you will usually here in this room ;-) Anyway, we had clean room, clean, bed, air-con and hot and cold shower. And the place was just across the school…… no hassle of traffic to worry about.

We were 20 students for this training…; Wow, it was quite a number (Good ;-)) Our trainers were two Canadians and one American. They were all TESOL experts…. Two-thumbs up for them!!! They were great – very competent. Well, truly the training was really intensive – schedule was tight and hectic. I was lucky enough if I could get four hours of sleep. We had lots of readings, homeworks and projects.

Well, the training was rewarding and fulfilling…. I learned a lot… Our efforts, hardships and sleepless nights (including our TESOL nightmares) were paid off during our graduation day – when we received our Certificate. (A Loud Applause for Us ;-))

In Cebu, God showered me with His blessings. I never got sick (though I always had my headache (any it was only mild)). One time when I had my “no dinner tonight” (just my saying when I need to tighten my belt – my practice is not to eat) – I was invited for a buffet dinner at Marco Polo (Great meal, I could say – a dinner that I could not forget). I had a bountiful, luscious lunch at Situkil Place (my friend’s family bought kilos of different seafood) and a thirst quencher juice at Shangri-la after a nice stroll on the white beach sand (I enjoyed every minute of walking under the heat of the sun). Well, I didn’t work on my tan as I planned to… I swam only once (sorry, for me huh! ;-))

Moreover, I had the chance to see the Taoist Temple, Tops (high place where one can see the splendid city of Cebu) and the Mount View. Similarly, we had one day Museum tour (in which we called Museum Invasion J) I tried their Lechon Baboy and Lechon Manok (they were really good… I love them) Oh speaking of food for P8.00 you can already have a good meal (only available at night…2 sticks of small barbecue and hanging rice (called puso) just add four peso if you want vegetable (ngoiong)…. Uh-oh… I missed these foods….

Well, I confessed some of my pocket money went to accessories… bought bunch of them…. My trainers even asked if I’m planning to sell them J…. My answer was “NO… they are for my friends (Sorry, I lied – coz I kept them J)

Oh my classmates are all nice and friendly…also I admired their creativity…. Well, the director of the school is really nice – warm and kind-hearted woman. One thing that I am also grateful to God is the gift of friendship from the new friends I met there.

Well, overall… I had enjoyable time in Cebu… I wish to go back there … by then… I’ll be with my SIGNIFICANT OTHER (hahaha… hopefully)

Rushing for the Deadline

“When everything will fall into place, it means… its God’s will.”

“Sis, I think I should not push through with my application… I will not be able to make it on time.”

Those were the things I said when planning for my application. I almost feel like giving up. My sis was the one who encouraged me to go on. So I did.

Wow, everything was falling into places….. (that was I thought) Whole day, I processed all the requirements with my sister’s help. I knew deep inside that my sister was already tired but as usual she never complained… she was the one who talked to the people concern to make the processing fast. Between us, it was my sister who was really tired. One day was not enough to finish everything. Since I have work the next day……… I asked my sister if she do the things for me instead.. despite her tiredness from her night duty at work, she agreed. She rushed the things for me in order to make it to the deadline…… but I wasn’t able to make it.

My heart cried…. I felt all were put into waste… the efforts, money and time….. most of all I felt sorry for my sister because she was the who gave all the time and effort… she was the who was really tired…. She refused the idea of me giving up but at the end she let me…. It was so sad …. It wounded me… it pained me but it was already late and there was nothing I could do… What I did then … was to kneel down and pray… I know God’s reason why it never happened… He had reason…

Right now I don’t know what it is what I only know is in His time… He will reveal to me the reason… and I know I will be thankful… because His plan is always for the best.

Day with ESLearners

Hello to my blog... haha... it's been a long time since I created my post ....

Well, I'm here in Cebu, taking my ESL Training; after three weeks of it, we now have the hands on.... application of our learnings. Whew! now, I am teaching.... first day, I thought it was a disaster.. but it wasn't... Things just went well. However, not all of my students showed up for the first... maybe because it was holiday... Labor Day :-)

I have three students, not so bad for a start ;-) Geezz... it's just that it is so hard when you are so use with the people who can converse to you fluently in English. My students are having difficulties with the language. Well, they will not be in my class; if they are not good, are they? ;-) But their desire to learn is the thing that motivates me to help them. They travel miles just to have a free tutorial class... and with that, I don't want to fail them. In my part, I'm struggling too because I want to help them ... correct them as to improve their English in a non-threathening way. It's a challenge for me on how to reach out and teach them. With the challenge on my part, I have to look out for effective ways in teaching them.

Tomorrow.... I'll be standing again in front of my students... I just pray that the Lord will be the one to help me in every step of this TESOL.

Catch the Bouquet

I attended a wedding yesterday; glad I was there.... I witnessed the love of two people who tie the knot for a lifetime commitmment.... The wedding was really nice, very romantic... people could say it was a dream wedding... =) Seeing that, others might wish to have a wedding such as that... even my sis wished to be wed again... just to experience that kind of celebration... it was really a wow for me......=) With that, I did also plan my own wedding...... it could be in an island... a beach style, in a garden, or on a hill =)....mmmm... if that happens I just hope people I love could attend to witness that special day for me.... but you know, even I wished that day for my dream wedding.. I never participate in the throwing of bouquet... I'm now too afraid to join... several times I joined and was able to catch the bouquet of the bride... but never did a time come that I met my God's best... now I don't want to join the fun part of any wedding party coz I feel like if I'll join to any the long wait now will be more delay.... hahaha... I don't know if this feeling is right attitude... I guess I should join and always try my best to catch the bouquet, huh... coz maybe soon I'll gonna got my special gift from the One Above... God might still be wrapping him coz up to now He is still shaping me to be the right woman for His gift......=)
